India Champions vs South Africa Champions: the direct answer
India Champions are scheduled to play South Africa Champions in World Championship of Legends Season 3 Match 7 on Tuesday, 6 October 2026. For readers in India, the listed start time is 17:00 IST. The T20 is scheduled at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. That is the essential India Champions vs South Africa Champions WCL 2026 date time information: 6 October, 17:00 IST, Sharjah Cricket Stadium, and a scheduled match status as of 3 October 2026 IST.
The official World Championship of Legends match page lists the fixture for 15:30 UAE time on 6 October. India is one hour and 30 minutes ahead of the UAE, which places the start at 17:00 IST. Cricket World’s independent fixture listing gives 12:30 GMT for the same match; that also converts to 17:00 IST. Using the India time rather than carrying out a last-minute conversion is the simplest way to keep this WCL Match 7 in a personal cricket calendar.
This is a schedule guide, not a report on play. The match is still marked Scheduled on the official league page. The details below separate the information confirmed by the cited fixture records from information that those records do not yet establish, so readers have a clear and practical reference before match day.
Confirmed India Champions vs South Africa Champions schedule
The official WCL record identifies this as Season 3, Match 7, with India Champions and South Africa Champions as the two sides. It gives Sharjah Cricket Stadium as the venue and 15:30 UAE time on 6 October. The independent Cricket World listing identifies the same pairing as the 7th T20 in the World Championship of Legends and gives Tuesday, 6 October 2026, 12:30 GMT, at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah. The two records therefore align on the teams, date, venue and start-time conversion.
For an at-a-glance plan, save the fixture as follows: India Champions vs South Africa Champions; Tuesday, 6 October 2026; 17:00 IST; Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates; T20; World Championship of Legends Season 3 Match 7; Scheduled. Keeping the competition label with the fixture is useful because it distinguishes this WCL appointment from other cricket on the same date.
The time is not an approximation. The official page’s 15:30 UAE time becomes 17:00 IST because the UAE is at UTC+4 and India is at UTC+5:30. The independent listing’s 12:30 GMT is a second way to verify the same calculation. Readers outside India can use the two published reference times, UAE time and GMT, to make their own local-calendar conversion.
When is India Champions vs South Africa Champions in IST?
India Champions vs South Africa Champions is scheduled to start at 17:00 IST on Tuesday, 6 October 2026. The corresponding published local time at the venue is 15:30 in the UAE. For an India-based reader, the practical step is to set a calendar entry for 17:00 IST on the Tuesday rather than 15:30, which is the Sharjah time on the official match page.
The 17:00 IST listing is based on the supplied, corroborated schedule, not an assumed start window. Cricket World’s listing provides 12:30 GMT and the official WCL page gives 15:30 UAE; both resolve to the same India time. This cross-check matters where a fixture page displays a venue-local time that can otherwise be mistaken for Indian Standard Time.
As with any future fixture, readers should revisit the official page close to 6 October to see whether the Scheduled status remains unchanged. This article records the published schedule available on 3 October IST. It does not replace a later official update should the organiser amend a date, time or venue detail.
Where will WCL Match 7 be played?
The confirmed venue for India Champions vs South Africa Champions is Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Both the official World Championship of Legends page and the independent Cricket World match listing name the ground. For location-focused searches, the useful fixture phrase is India Champions South Africa Champions Sharjah: this is the WCL Season 3 Match 7 venue named in the published schedule.
Sharjah is part of the fixture identity, not merely a regional label. A reader checking an event reminder, a travel plan or a match listing should match all three core details together: the two teams, 6 October and Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The official page also presents a matchday-planning link, but this article does not assume any access arrangement, timing or availability beyond the scheduled match facts listed by the sources.
No other ground is identified for this fixture in the verified records used here. If a later update changes the location, the official WCL match page should be treated as the first reference point. Until then, Sharjah Cricket Stadium is the confirmed answer to the question of where WCL Match 7 is scheduled to take place.
Format and competition context
The fixture is listed as a T20 in the World Championship of Legends. Cricket World labels it the 7th T20, while the official page labels it Match 7 in WCL Season 3. Those labels provide the relevant format and competition context without adding details that have not been published for this individual match.
For readers who follow several series at once, the full label is helpful: World Championship of Legends 2026 match 7, India Champions versus South Africa Champions. It is more precise than a generic India-versus-South-Africa search because it carries the Champions team names, the WCL competition and the Sharjah fixture setting. It also keeps this schedule page focused on the planned match rather than on unrelated cricket calendars.
The confirmed T20 classification tells a reader how the match is presented by the independent match record. The official page supplies the Season 3 and Match 7 designation. Together, those two pieces identify the appointment being discussed here: a scheduled WCL Season 3 T20 at Sharjah on 6 October, starting at 17:00 IST.
What is confirmed, and what is not confirmed
Confirmed: the teams are India Champions and South Africa Champions; the event is WCL Season 3 Match 7; the date is 6 October 2026; the venue is Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah; the status is Scheduled; the official local start is 15:30 UAE time; and the India start time is 17:00 IST. The T20 classification is independently listed by Cricket World. These are the facts repeated consistently across the official and independent sources cited below.
Not confirmed by the fixture facts used for this article: named match-day line-ups, final team sheets, match officials, viewing arrangements, detailed venue-entry arrangements and any player figures. The official page says player figures appear when verified scoring begins, so this pre-match guide does not supply player figures in advance. It also does not attach unverified names or logistics to the scheduled fixture.
This distinction is designed to make the page more useful. A reader looking for date, time and venue can rely on the confirmed schedule block. A reader looking for later match-day information should check the official WCL fixture page again, because a future official update is the appropriate source for any new detail. The current status should not be read as confirmation of information that the cited fixture records do not provide.
A practical match-day checklist for India-based readers
First, add Tuesday, 6 October 2026 and 17:00 IST to a calendar. Including both the competition and venue in the reminder — WCL Season 3 Match 7, Sharjah Cricket Stadium — makes the entry easier to recognise if several fixtures fall in the same week. The 17:00 IST time is the India conversion supplied and corroborated for this match, rather than a general estimate.
Second, keep the official WCL match page bookmarked. Its current status is Scheduled and it is the organiser’s fixture record for the match. A quick check close to the listed start will show whether the page still carries the same published timing and venue. The independent Cricket World listing is a useful second reference because it separately records the fixture as a scheduled 7th T20 at Sharjah and shows the GMT time that supports the IST conversion.
Third, use only confirmed practical details when sharing the fixture: India Champions versus South Africa Champions, 6 October, 17:00 IST, Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Do not turn an early schedule entry into a claim about team news, venue arrangements or player statistics before those details appear in an appropriate official update. That restraint is especially useful for a future match whose official page says verified player figures come later.
How the time conversion works
The official schedule uses UAE time: 15:30 UAE on 6 October. Indian Standard Time is 90 minutes ahead, so the corresponding time is 17:00 IST on the same date. There is no date change in this conversion. This is why the India Champions vs South Africa Champions IST time remains Tuesday, 6 October, even though the event is held in the United Arab Emirates.
The independent record offers a useful verification route. It lists 12:30 GMT on Tuesday, 6 October. India is five hours and 30 minutes ahead of GMT, bringing that listing to 17:00 IST. UAE time is four hours ahead of GMT, bringing 12:30 GMT to 15:30 UAE. Both routes describe the same scheduled starting point at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
Readers can avoid a common calendar mistake by recording the time-zone label with every version of the time: 15:30 UAE, 12:30 GMT and 17:00 IST. The India time is the one most relevant to this page’s audience, while the other two published references make the conversion transparent and checkable.
Why the source status matters before the match
A fixture page answers a different question from a completed match record. At the time this guide was prepared, the official WCL page describes the India Champions and South Africa Champions fixture as Scheduled and presents it as up next in Season 3. Cricket World likewise marks the match as scheduled and says it has yet to begin. The correct reader takeaway is therefore the forward-looking schedule, not a claim about events that have not yet happened.
The official and independent records are useful together. The league page is the primary source for the organiser’s current listing, including the 15:30 UAE start, Sharjah venue and Scheduled label. Cricket World independently identifies the date, 12:30 GMT time, Sharjah venue and T20 designation. Agreement on the material facts gives readers a stronger basis for a calendar entry than a single uncited schedule snippet.
If the official listing later changes, the article’s status should be refreshed to reflect that official information. Until an update is published, the current verified description remains simple: India Champions and South Africa Champions are scheduled to meet in WCL Season 3 Match 7 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on 6 October at 17:00 IST.
